REPORT: KIM FOXX WITHOUT ‘HONESTY, TRANSPARENCY & EFFECTIVENESS’

Just days ago, Kim Foxx placed an op-ed in the Chicago Tribune telling all of us that we should ‘all hold ourselves to the highest standards of honesty, transparency, and effectiveness.’ Today, 24 hours after Special Prosecutor Dan Webb’s report came out, it is undeniably clear that it is actually Kim Foxx who has been running her office without ‘honesty, transparency, or effectiveness.’

The report stated that Kim Foxx had ‘substantial abuses of discretion and operational failures’ in her handling of the Jussie Smollett case. We knew this to be true before the Webb Report, and we also know that these abuses and failures are not just limited to the Smollett case, but rather they are a systemic problem in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.

The people of greater Cook County and the City of Chicago have lost all confidence in Kim Foxx. She has failed us, she has failed the system, she has failed our families, and she has failed our communities.

Now Kim Foxx may lose her law license when the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission reviews the Webb Report, but Cook County voters don’t have to wait to send Kim Foxx packing.

Judge Pat O’Brien will actually protect our families and communities, while restoring justice and integrity in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Below are just some of the news articles that have come out in the last 24 hours about Kim Foxx’s failures in Cook County. We all must take a step back from the partisan rhetoric and ask ourselves as Cook County residents, if we aren’t safer now than when Kim Foxx became the Cook County State’s Attorney in 2017, why would we ever send her back for another term? Especially when she could lose her law license and not even legally serve as our county’s lead prosecutor.

This fall, it is time to Fire Kim Foxx.
